1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation, as well as to all other services and deliveries provided to the customer by Hotel am Schlosspark.

2. Conclusion of contract
The accommodation contract comes into effect when the hotel accepts the customer’s application. Acceptance may be given in writing, verbally or electronically.

3. Services, prices, payment, set-off

1. The hotel is obliged to keep the rooms booked by the customer available and to provide the agreed services.

2. The customer is obliged to pay the applicable or agreed prices for the room and for any other services used. This also applies to third-party services commissioned by the customer directly or through the hotel.

3. The hotel may adjust prices if the customer subsequently requests changes to the number of rooms booked, the services or the length of stay, and the hotel agrees to those changes.

4. Hotel invoices are payable in full immediately upon receipt. The hotel is entitled to request an appropriate advance payment or security at any time.

4. Cancellation by the customer

1. The customer may withdraw from the contract only if a corresponding right of withdrawal has been agreed, a statutory right of withdrawal exists, or the hotel consents to the withdrawal.

2. If the customer withdraws without such a right or without consent, the hotel retains its claim to the agreed payment.

3. Cancellation terms:
   – Up to 7 days before arrival: free cancellation
   – 6 to 2 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
   – From 1 day before arrival or in the event of non-arrival (no-show): 100% of the total price.

5. Cancellation by the hotel
The hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract for objectively justified reasons, for example in cases of force majeure, misleading information given at the time of booking, or reasonable grounds to believe that use of the services could jeopardise the operation, the safety or the reputation of the hotel.

6. Invoices and payment
Hotel invoices that state no due date are payable in full within 14 days of receipt. The hotel may demand immediate payment of outstanding amounts from the customer at any time.

7. Room availability, handover and return

1. There is no entitlement to a specific room unless this has been expressly confirmed in writing.

2. Booked rooms are available to the customer from 1:00 pm on the day of arrival.

3. On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 12:00 noon. An additional charge may be made if the room is returned late.

8. Visitors & registration
All visitors must be registered at reception in advance – even for a short visit. Unregistered visitors may not enter the rooms. This is for the safety of all guests.

9. Keys
A charge of €30 applies if a room key is lost.

10. Rooms and furnishings
Please treat the room and its furnishings with care. Damage or heavy soiling that goes beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the person responsible.

11. Quiet hours
Quiet hours apply throughout the building from 10:00 pm. Please be considerate of other guests and avoid loud conversation, music or television.

12. Smoking & pets

1. Smoking is prohibited in all hotel rooms. A cleaning charge of €250 applies in the event of a breach.

2. Pets are permitted only if registered in advance and approved by the hotel. An additional cleaning fee may be charged.

13. Conduct in the hotel / right of admission
Any form of aggressive behaviour, threat, harassment or insult towards other guests or staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the premises without refund of accommodation costs. In such cases the hotel reserves the right to refuse future bookings as well.

14. Data protection
The hotel processes personal data exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation. For details, please see our privacy policy.

15. Final provisions

1. Amendments and additions to the contract or to these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing.

2. The place of performance and payment is the registered office of the hotel.

3. The place of jurisdiction is Wiesbaden, insofar as this is legally permissible.

4. German law applies exclusively.

5. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
